KeepInTouch — Terms of Use
Effective: 2026-08-31
These terms are the agreement between you and Ofek Rotem ("we") for the KeepInTouch mobile app. By using the app you accept them.
What the app does
KeepInTouch keeps a short list of people you want to stay in touch with, a target cadence for each, and reminds you when it has been a while. It does not send messages for you, and it never contacts anyone on your list.
Your account
You need an account to use the app, and you sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure. Tell us at support@getkeepintouch.com if you think someone else has access to yours.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 13.
The people in your list
This is the part that matters most, so it is stated plainly: the people you add did not agree to be in our database. You are the one who decided to store their details, and you are responsible for having a legitimate reason to. Do not use KeepInTouch to build a list of people you do not personally know, to keep records about someone on another person's behalf, or for any purpose they would object to.
We handle their data as described in the Privacy Policy and hold it only as long as you keep them in your list.
Free and Pro
The free tier tracks up to five people. Pro removes that limit and unlocks full interaction history.
If your subscription ends, you keep your data. Every contact stays — visible, editable, searchable and callable. What you lose is reminders beyond the free five: the extras become dormant, meaning they are kept but not nudged, and you choose which five stay active. Nothing is deleted and nothing is hidden.
Payment
Subscriptions are sold and charged through Apple's App Store or Google Play, not by us. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you cancel through the store's own subscription settings rather than through us — we have no ability to charge or refund your card.
Refunds are handled under the policy of whichever store you bought from.
What we ask of you
Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service, and do not use it to break the law or to harass anyone.
What we do not promise
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and you should not rely on it as your only record of anything that matters. Reminders depend on your device's operating system, its notification permissions, and its power settings — all outside our control. A missed reminder is a possibility you should plan around, not a breach of these terms.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from inside it, which purges your data. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
